Snohomish County Phase 2

After what has felt like ages at home, I am hopeful that we are easing toward Phase 2 here in Snohomish County. My family has spent this time making weekly drop offs at the closest food pantry, tackling some long-neglected yard projects, and muddling our way through online pandemic school. Not gonna lie, it has been hard.

As photography is allowed to resume with Phase 2 in Washington State, I will be taking it slow. I feel confident we can safely photograph your family and milestones, with some important precautions in place. For now, most sessions will take place outdoors, and that's actually perfect as summer approaches! Around town or around the outside of your home are great places for family photos. If an indoor session turns out to be the best fit for you, I will wear a mask and gloves, and maintain as much distance as possible.

We all will need to be free of symptoms. Health and safety absolutely come first. Your session will be rescheduled if I, or anyone else in my home, have been sick in the days leading up to your session. Please do the same, and request a reschedule if anyone in your home has been ill.

I will wear a mask and use hand sanitizer. I can still direct your posing and help you look your best, just from a distance. I have equipment that will allow me to stay far enough away.

If you're craving a front porch photo, have a garden you're proud of, or a favorite park or other place you've been missing, we can do that soon.

Here's hoping we can all keep working together as a community to stay home and stay safe, and cruise on toward Phase 2. What year 2020 has been, and here we are, not even halfway through. This is a year to remember, and we can make some memorable images so that someday when you look back at this crazy year, there are some beautiful, happy memories to go with it.

Stay healthy, stay safe friends!
