A fresh kind of school portrait

Ah, the school picture. A quick snapshot in time, a tradition in so many of our homes. My mom had a special frame with 13 slots in it for kindergarten right through my senior year and we added to it every year. Some (most?) of them range from not great to super awful. But they are a tradition, right? I always buy the school photo for my own kids, and usually get a good chuckle when it comes home.

With all of the schools in the area distance learning this fall, what will happen to that important photo? I'm excited to offer Fine Art School Portraits for families in the area who are looking for a fresh take on the school portrait. With a simple black background, you will find yourself with a timeless, classic portrait of your child. Personality shines through, and you will receive multiple expressions to show off various aspects of their personality. These are portraits you will be happy to display in your home and gift to grandparents and other family members.

A really great bonus? Sibling images too! After individuals, the option is there to put your kids together in the frame. If it's anything like my family, a whole new personality and mood emerges when you put siblings close together.

At this time all sessions for distance learning and homeschool families will be outdoors at my Mukilteo home, with masks required for all who are not being photographed. Images will be delivered via online gallery for download, in both color and black and white, and you will have the option to purchase prints or canvases (can you say holiday gifts?).

Have a group? Get 10 or so families together and I can come to you with my simple set up.

Stay tuned for final dates and details. Just here waiting for this smoke to clear all the way out.
